Summary: Full-time Flight Coordinator to assist the Flight Crews

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Flight Coordinator is responsible for release aircraft under both part 91 and 135.
  • Utilizing the aircraft status board and pilot schedule to pair qualified and eligible personnel with airworthy aircraft to accomplish the scheduled flight
  • Ensure all crewmembers are accurately briefed or re-briefed of any and all duties assigned
  • Ensure required trip sheets and all other required trip documents are sent to and received by the appropriate crewmembers
  • Responsible for proactively monitoring weather and air traffic control status and other possible scheduled interruption to Passenger Services and Crew Scheduling.
  • Assist flight crew as necessary with trip routing with regards to tech stops, crew swapping, and or crew augmentation
  • Coordinate managed aircraft maintenance requirements and controlled fleet trips with Maintenance Control
  • Provide required documentation for and communicate with various government agencies for domestic operations
  • Ensure all flight crews, maintenance , and stations are aware of crew and aircraft schedules
  • Make sure records are received from stations and flight crews
  • Input flight information into airline computer systems
  • Report any discrepancies, or possible problems, with crew or aircraft scheduling
  • Carry out company and FAA policies and procedures regarding scheduling and tracking of flight crews and aircraft
  • Audit flight log information
  • Other duties assigned

  • Excellent prioritization and coordination skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Creative problem resolution skills
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Strong self-starter with the ability to multi-task and get along well with others
  • Basic knowledge of aviation terminology

Physical Demands:

 The person in this position must be able to work in an environmental controlled office at a seated work station.  Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. Must be able to work with a desktop computer system.

Other Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years or older to apply
  • Willing to submit to background check and drug test
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, College degree preferred
  • Availability to work during weekends, holidays, or different shifts as needed
