Air Choice One seeks candidates for First Officer positions operating the Cessna 208ex Caravan in scheduled and on-demand passenger operations based at St. Louis Lambert International Airport (STL/KSTL), and operating under FAR Part 135 throughout the Midwest.

Successful candidates will be responsible to conduct flight operations in Company aircraft, ensuring a maximum level of safety, convenience to passengers, and cost effectiveness while maintaining flight schedules.  The First Officer is expected to have a thorough and continuing working knowledge of all aircraft systems, Federal Aviation Regulations and TSA Regulations, weather and instrument operations during all seasons, and company standards and procedures.

The First Officer is a vital crew member.  He or she must have excellent aeronautical decision making skills, strong flying and instrument skills, and excellent radio telephony skills: operations include regularly scheduled flights into Class B hub airports Chicago O'Hare (ORD/KORD), St. Paul, MN (MSP) and St. Louis Lambert (STL/KSTL).  The First Officer must be able to work in a crew environment with outstanding Crew Resource Management skills, employing all available resources to assure operational safety.  First Officers are required to effectively support flight operations, and they are expected to continue to develop their experience and knowledge in order to become Captains.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

Reading, analyzing and interpreting weather reports, forecasts and maps and monitoring weather prior to and during flight in order to maintain safe operations during all seasons

Filing flight plans,

Determining proper fuel loads and monitoring proper fueling,

Conducting weight and balance,

Conducting pre- & post-flight aircraft inspections,

Maintaining continuous radio communication with air traffic control and company operations, from Class B hub airports ORD and STL to rural areas with limited facilities, and adhering to ATC clearances,

Conducting passenger briefings and providing other passenger assistance,

Exercising effective and continuous Crew Resource Management and demonstrating sound, safe aeronautical decision-making,

Other duties as directed by the Captain or the Chief Pilot.


Legally authorized to work in the United States on a regular full-time basis without restrictions.

Willing to work early and late hours, weekends and holidays.

Willing to relocate to St. Louis, Missouri, and to spend multiple days traveling while on duty.

Able to Lift 60 pounds.

Pilots will be expected to participate in a training agreement as a condition of employment.


FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate - Airplane Single Engine Land

FAA Instrument Rating " Airplane

FAA First Class/ Second Medical Certificate

FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit

Valid passport and driver's license.

Minimum Required Experience:

Minimum total flight time is 250 hours

Minimum instrument flying experience of 50 hours
